These Terms are offered by [Your Company Name] (“we,” “us,” “our”). Our service helps writers and readers manage projects, track sessions, visualize mindmaps, and forecast progress toward deadlines.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
• You’re responsible for your account credentials and all activities under your account.
• Keep your profile information (including profile picture) up to date and lawful to share.

• Free: One-time session calculator experience without storing Projects or WorkSessions in the database. You can test pace/forecasts but no persistent data is saved.
• Pro: Create Projects, save WorkSessions (writing content, word count, time spent), track progress over time, use Mindmaps, maintain Todos, and access additional analytics and exports.

• Pro is billed at $11.99/month (pricing subject to change).
• We offer a 7-day free trial for new users; a valid payment method is required to start the trial. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, you’ll be charged for the first billing period at the then-current price.
• Manage or cancel your plan anytime in Account Settings. When you cancel, access remains active until the end of your current billing cycle. No partial refunds for unused periods unless required by law.
• Payments are processed by third parties (e.g., Stripe). By subscribing, you agree to their terms and privacy policy.

• Writing & Mindmaps: You own your text and mindmap structures. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content to provide the service.
• Quill images & uploads: If you insert images into your editor, you confirm you have rights to store and display them. We may optimize, resize, or transcode images to deliver the service efficiently.
• Suggestions/Reviews: Content posted in Suggestions may be publicly visible to other users, who can like your entries. Don’t post confidential or sensitive info there.

• No unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• No harassment, spam, or scraping of the service.
• No reverse engineering or circumventing technical limits.
• Don’t upload viruses or attempt to disrupt or overload our infrastructure.

• We use cloud providers (e.g., MongoDB Atlas for data; object storage/CDN for images) to deliver the service.
• We may enforce reasonable quotas (e.g., file size, image count) or fair-use limits to protect performance and costs.
• You’re responsible for exporting backups if you need offline copies (e.g., PDF/Word export where available).

• Progress estimates and deadline forecasts are for guidance only and depend on your inputs and past WorkSessions. We do not guarantee outcomes.
• Where available, AI-generated suggestions or task recommendations may be imperfect. You’re responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.

• The service (including UI, design, code, and branding) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by IP laws.
• Except for your content, you may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the service.

The service may integrate third-party tools (e.g., Stripe payments, authentication, analytics, storage/CDN). We are not responsible for third-party services; their terms and privacy policies apply.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim.

• You may stop using the service at any time. To cancel a Pro subscription, use the account settings.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the service or other users.

• We may add, change, or remove features. When material changes impact paid plans or pricing, we’ll give reasonable notice.
• Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
